Project Description
Research Triangle Institute (RTI) was implementing a USAID funded program called Education Sector Reform Assistance (ESRA). The objective was to support the Government of Pakistan's Education Sector Reform effort by operating across 06 technical areas:
- Policy and Planning
- Professional Development
- Literacy
- Administration
- Public-private Partnership
- Information and Communication Technologies
The project was active in eight districts of Sindh and Baluchistan.
Services Provided by APEX
APEX core team conducted Primary Education Baseline Survey. The project included the design of research instruments and field testing, sample determination, enumerator selection and training, fieldwork, and report writing. The research instruments included student and teacher assessment questionnaire and observation sheets. Fieldwork was conducted through enumerators selected from Quaid-e-Azam University, Baluchistan University, Karachi University, and NGOs in Sindh and Baluchistan.
